Phát triển thường niên, thậm chí có năm có tới 3 phiên bản khác nhau trên các hệ máy nhưng chưa có phiên bản nào của dòng game Assassin's Creed là bị các gamer đánh giá thấp, thậm chí vẫn đạt được doanh số rất khả quan và là món "hốt bạc" lớn cho nhà sản xuất. "Đến hẹn lại lên", sau một phiên bản Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag đầy thú vị, Ubisoft tiếp tục cho ra mắt một bản Assassin's Creed hoàn toàn mới đón đầu next-gen, là Assassin's Creed Unity.

Trong phiên bản lần này, bạn sẽ vào vai Arno - một nhân vật mới toanh tại thủ đô Paris hoa lệ của nước Pháp. Tương tự như các phần Assassin's Creed trước, sự kiện lịch sử lần này sẽ là cuộc Cách mạng ở Pháp, với sự ra đời của rất nhiều yếu tố cách tân cho một nước Pháp đang bên bờ khủng hoảng. Bạn sẽ đồng hành cùng Arno trải dài qua suốt một thời kì lịch sử, và sẵn sàng cho một câu chuyện hoành tráng đầy kịch tính. Lối chơi của Assassin's Creed Unity vẫn không có nhiều thay đổi, vẫn là những màn chạy nhảy leo trèo truyền thống và "rình rập" con mồi của mình, tuy nhiên, nhà phát triển đã khéo léo bổ sung những trang thiết bị độc đáo hơn cho nhân vật, hứa hẹn mang đến những màn ám sát kinh điển hơn bao giờ hết.

Đón đầu xu thế next-gen, được phát triển dành cho các máy Xbox One và PlayStation 4, cũng như các cỗ PC tân thời, Assassin's Creed Unity sở hữu một nền đồ họa tuyệt vời với mức độ chi tiết cực kì đáng kinh ngạc.
